THANK YOU ABBIE!!
This is Kayleigh talking to Grandma Redman on the phone. She loves to talk on the phone!
Here is another great testimony from a formerly sponsored Compassion child. This one is under 8 minutes long and is very moving. Michelle is also at Moody Bible Institute through a scholarship.
Watch Michelle's story HERE. And if you haven't had the opportunity to watch Richmond's story, please take the time. Kevin watched it the other day and agreed with me that it is worth watching.
You will see firsthand, what $32 a month from you can do for a child living in poverty.
What's even more amazing to me is that these formerly sponsored children, are now sponsors. It made such a difference to them that they are making sacrifices to release other children from poverty.
While we are on the subject of sponsoring children, here are two that need a sponsor.
Christabell lives in Kenya and is almost 5 years old.
Mario lives in Indonesia and will turn 6 on Sept. 14 (he's Kevin's birthday buddy)
If you want to make a difference in these children's lives, let me know and I'll help you get your sponsorship set up!
Please take some time this week to watch this interview.
I have heard Richmond's stories through others who have had the opportunity to hear him speak, but to hear it straight from Richmond is a powerful thing.
Sponsorship makes an eternal difference.
I always have child packets on hand that I can send to you....or you can visit Compassion's site and choose a child.
Make a decision to make a difference.
**I just want to add that if you are a sponsor, Richmond has a special message for you. And if you've ever considered sponsoring, he has a message for you as well. NO ONE can say it better than Richmond....he was a child, living in poverty. And he was released from poverty because of Compassion's sponsorship program.
I know it's long...but it's worth it. I'm praying you'll take the time to watch it.
I think I have the cutest cleaning lady ever! Unfortunately, she doesn't do a very good job!
Last week I wrote a post about the Global Food Crisis Day...
Go HERE to read the report on the results of that day.
I'm glad I was part of that....were you?
