The Fort and the Corn

Today we built a huge fort in our front room.....

Not wanting our efforts to go to waste (as they so often do after the fort is built), we had breakfast and story time in the fort. (yes, the girls are wearing the same dresses they wore yesterday!)

We took pictures of each other's static-y hair...

We even did violin practice inside the fort.

The girls did a little school work under their sheeted canopy....

And watched a movie while I had a phone call meeting for Compassion

The fort was well-used today!

This evening we harvested and ate corn from our garden. It was delicious. We all wanted more, but only four ears were ready, so we have to wait until another day for the rest.

Both of these videos make me laugh so hard. Syd didn't know I was taking a movie until the end. Kay...well, she just makes me laugh sometimes!
