Saturday Walk

Our plans for a hike today were cut short when the kitchen bar stool crashed down on Kayleigh's foot this morning. We were worried for a little bit that we might have to take her in for x-ray's, but she began walking on it and seemed fine. So....we set off to explore a new park and walk around a bit.

Our destination was Captain William Clark Park in Washougal, WA.

We walked the dike trail to the wildlife refuge area and spotted some turtles....

Those are ducks and turtles resting on the log...

If you look closely, you can see Mt. Hood peeking through the clouds. You can also see the cliffs and Oregon's Vista House

After our long walk (about 3 miles), we returned to the beach and the girls had fun swimming in the river.
