Saturday Hike

Saturday we finally got out for another hike. I wanted to go to Triple Falls - a hike I haven't done since we first moved her 5 years ago. It starts at the base of Horsetail Falls and you get to walk behind Upper Horsetail Falls and then cross Oneota Falls before arriving at Triple Falls. Unfortunately, the trail is closed between Oneota Falls and Triple Falls due to some major mudslides so we didn't get to see the triple wonder.

Still, it was a nice hike - plenty of fog to make the forest a bit eerie and the waterfalls we did see were gorgeous!

It's hard to understand the perspective of this photo, but you are looking down Oneota Gorge...that's not a waterfall, it's a narrow gorge with water (and waterfalls) flowing through it.
