Last week we traveled to Buffalo, NY to play in the Irish Festival and visit family. We have spent all summer getting ready for this gig and it was fun to play for so many familiar faces. Parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends!
We headed to the festival on Friday night to check everything out. Our performance was scheduled for Saturday at noon.

After our set was finished, we headed over to the big stage to hear Eileen Ivers and her band play. I've been a fan of her fiddle playing for 23 years and it was amazing (and a bit intimidating) to be playing at the same festival as her! Her band was absolutely phenomenal.
Best day ever!!!
