Snowflakes

Last week we had the right conditions for me to get some macro photographs of snowflakes. 

When I see that the snowflakes are the right ones, I set out some scarves and other things for the flakes to land on. Then I patiently try to get some good photos. Below are two examples of what they look like straight out of the camera.
