Since our gigs were canceled on Tuesday, we headed across the river into Washington to a nearby hike. This area has several different hiking loops you can do, and we went east - it didn't look familiar even though we've hiked this many times.
Some of the smaller, more delicate wildflowers were blooming and it was beautiful.
Even though we are taking social distancing seriously and only hanging out together, it's lovely that we can still get out in nature. I don't know how long this will last - some places are already cracking down on being outside of your house and yard.
Honestly, life hasn't changed much for me. We already homeschool. We aren't involved in many activities. It isn't uncommon for us to stay home for days at a time. Kevin even works from home every week.
But he's home more now....there is no youth group or orchestra....no Friday classes...and no in-person violin lessons (teaching a few via facebook - although I had already been doing that with one student!)
