The Garden - Mid-June

We had to say goodbye to one of our pet rabbits - Buttercup. She had developed a malignant tumor on her leg and it bleeding regularly and getting worse by the day. We went to a local garden center and picked out a memorial bush to bury her under.

The roses have been beautiful!

Everything is just growing so well and so quickly!

The raspberries are insane - I hate to say it, but there are too many! I added a mulched path in front of the raspberry bed and then planted sunflowers on the other side. You can see they are doing quite well! In front of the sunflowers are the pumpkins.

The corn is more than knee-high and it's not yet 4th of July. I didn't plan to plant corn, but a friend gave me 100 starts she had started from seed. How can you say no to free corn starts?

The blueberry bushes are full and loaded! I picked the first ones yesterday and they are so delicious.
