St. Patrick's Day

It's been a year of no live music. All events were canceled and shut down on March 16, 2020...our big St. Patrick's Day gigs that we practiced and practiced for were just cancelled. We never, in our wildest imaginations, thought we wouldn't be able to perform for an entire year. (there was that ONE gig we got to do in September, but that was it).

So we were thrilled to be booked for an outdoor St. Patrick's day event at a fairly large venue this year. I actually got teary during the first tune because I was so overwhelmed by all the feelings...grief over all we lost...grateful for what lies ahead.

It was beautiful, warmish and sunny....and the best part is that there were 20 familiar, friendly faces in the crowd to celebrate with us.

Also fun...during the month of March we were featured twice on the Irish and Celtic Music podcast..

  1. Thanks for the new post. I was getting tired of looking at and reading about snowflakes.
