On Saturday Sydney was not feeling well enough to go hiking, so she and I stayed home. I guess we didn't stay home the whole time, though, because we walked up to the park for a picnic and found SO MUCH BEAUTY on the way there and back. I love how fall lasts longer here...
There are mushrooms (all different types) growing EVERYWHERE right now. Some are obvious and others you have to look for...but you don't have to look long until you find some.
It's now really, really windy, so I'm sure most of our leaves will be gone in the next few days. I'm so thankful for the nice, sunny weather we had so we could get out and enjoy the autumn beauty while it was still around.
I appreciate so much your love for nature and how you celebrate and capture the beauty, You have such a gift to see the glory of God's creation. I love that about you!
