Every once in a while I hear a big thud on one of our windows...usually when I look there is no evidence of whatever had caused it. But sometimes we'll find a bird in shock, like this one.
The first Sunday of September we finally got to play live music again! First time in nearly 6 months!
School started up again...this year Sydney is a 10th grader and Kayleigh is a 9th grader. They are taking a couple classes at the local Christian school again, and we are grateful that they can attend in person.
The garden was weird this year...I tend to focus on all the things I didn't like, but we did get quite a bit of food. I try to plant enough to share and enough for our family to eat. I don't like the burden of having too much. I'd say cucumbers were the winner this year.
