SMART Joy

When joy seems to be absent from my life, I need to ask myself, "Am I being SMART?"

S - Sing to the Lord
Ephesians 5:19 Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.


M - Meditate on praiseworthy things
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.


A - be Anxious for nothing
Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.


R - Rejoicing always
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway., I will say it again; Rejoice!


T - give Thanks for everything
Ephesians 5:20 ...always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
