In our attempt to practice "Sabbath Simplicity"...a concept I learned in one of the many books I've read on simple living, we took the day off from any of the normal household work we normally do and had ourselves a nice little snow picnic yesterday afternoon. We've been watching a couple different "survival" shows, and Sydney and Kevin came up with the idea to go out in the woods and start a fire like Bear or Les would (the survival guys). Well, Kayleigh and I didn't want to be left out so we joined them. We have some woods in our back yard so we hiked back, crossed a stream and then set up our "camp". We then feasted on cheese, crackers, chocolate and hot chocolate.
