Story Time at Prairie Meadows

We held a children's story time at Prairie Meadows today.....it was fun! Several moms brought their young children to hear stories, sing songs and interact with the Senior residents. I was in charge and since I'm a musician, I read some music-themed books. I also took my violin, viola and a borrowed a cello to play for the residents and kids. We sang songs together and then colored pictures of violins to give to the residents. When we left, Sydney said to me in the car, "That was alot of fun mom!" What a blessing those little kids are to the residents!!!
