Last week we found a beautiful beach with a little island right off it...we thought it would be so cool to go back with the kayak so that's what we set out to do today. I was also excited to return because I had forgotten my camera last week. Well, the bugs were AWFUL!!! Thankfully we had this bug tent and were at least able to eat our picnic lunch. Kevin paddled over to the island, but it didn't last long because the flies were swarming him. So we left....and went to another beach .
Can you see all those flies behind Sydney on the tent? They would just swarm you...Kayleigh was especially freaked out and would just stand there, screaming and shaking.
Syd and daddy kayaked out to this little island...there are little islands all over! This one is just covered in seagulls. And as you can see, the class of 2008 was very proud to paint "08" on the rock.
