Here are some pictures of our new kitchen. It's a weird layout and I'm still getting used to it. When I need something from the refrigerator, I keep going to the pantry...they are side by side, but I don't know why I can't keep them straight. As you can see, we have a huge island, but it's so far from the rest of the kitchen that it feels out of place. I'm sure in a couple weeks, I will be more used to it!
In the photo above, the door right next to the refrigerator is the pantry..the other door around the corner is to the basement. Behind that are the steps that lead to the second floor. Also in that hall is a half bath.
This is the family room...I am standing in the kitchen to take this picture.
And here is Kayleigh! Don't you love that smile?
