At first I didn't think I would have anything to post today, but girls will be girls and plenty of photo opportunities presented themselves.

Budding artists....in an effort to be able to get something done without interruption, I set up their art easel on the deck. It was great for 30 seconds and then "Mama, come see what I painted!" "Mama, we need more paper" "Mama, do you like what Kayleigh did?" "Mama, can we have markers?" etc....
These were the ones drying, but apparantly Kayleigh wasn't finished with them. She likes to take the marker and draw very little scribbles all over. She is very intent about it....this picture reminds me of the documentary "My Kid Could Do That" (pretty good film by the way).
I know I won't be getting any awards for best hair styles with my girls!! I like Kayleigh's up like this...Sydney's not so much...maybe it's because Sydney insists on putting the barrette in herself!
This is Sydney's caterpillar she found (we have thousands in our yard). She's a smart kid, but today displayed her inablility to be "bright". She said, "Look mama...these caterpillars have stinging hair...do you want to hold it?"
I was finally able to eat lunch in peace....the girls were in the playroom and all of a sudden I hear, "Kayleigh, we have our dancing clothes and shoes on. We better have a dance party!" So here are some action shots of the girls dancing.
Looks like Sydney is in the air in this one! They were so funny!
Jill, If there's one thing I've learned as a mom, it's this-expect interruptions. They're so cute.
