This is our new boat...there are two adult seats and then there is enough room for the girls to sit with us. Technically it's a kayak, but it's similar in size to a canoe. 
Kayleigh and I sit up front and Sydney and Kevin sit in the back seat. Sydney was in charge of the cooler....it was her "great idea" to eat our lunch in the boat, so she handed out everyone's food. 
We started out in Lake Superior and paddled a short distance to this river. This is the view of where the river meets the lake. 
I was searching for articles on "have fun kayaking" and ran across your site. I loved your Halloween pictures and the pictures of the family paddling. We started a paddling group last year and those who have paddle with us, have ranged in age from 2-70. Kayaking and Canoeing is a great sport for any family. The memories it will create for you are priceless.
