In the past week or so, Sydney and Kayleigh have spent many hours playing in their "sea anenomes" (otherwise know as a pile of pillows). This isn't really a new thing for them....I guess the new part is that now they are calling it a sea anenome....months ago it was a "mouse house" and before that a "beaver dam". The important thing is, it entertains them. The annoying part is that at nap time I have to remake Kayleigh's bed (it's lined with pillows) and at bedtime I have to redistribute pillows to everyone's beds.
In my never-ending quest to simplify, I've started boxing up the toys they rarely play with and have moved them to storage in the basement. So far I have filled a rather large rubbermaid container, and no one has noticed! Maybe this winter when we are feeling "snowed in" we can go to the basement and rediscover everything mommy has hidden!
Until then, you will likely find one, two, three or even four of the Foley family members sitting in a sea anenome!
