What a fun day we had yesterday.....here are lots and lots of pictures for you to enjoy.
Sydney really wanted to do this slide, but then wouldn't climb up. So I went up with her and I'll have to admit, it was a little scary...higher than you think!
We bought the girls their first cotton candy...they thought it was great!
This is Kayleigh just chilling out, waiting for the parade to begin.
It was an absolutely beautiful day....sunny and in the 70s! We went home around 4 pm, ate an early dinner and put the girls to bed at 5. Then we woke them up at 9:30 and went back to the waterfront to watch the fireworks. The display was one of the best I've ever seen and the girls really enjoyed it. At first Kayleigh was a little unsure saying, "no...no...no" but then she relaxed and just watched. We were home and back in bed by midnight! It stays light here so long that the fireworks didn't even start until 10:45!
