Henry just sent me this picture...what a precious little baby boy!Little baby Anthony Mario Pacheco is doing well....
He's on day 2 of life and his oxygen levels are right where they want them. If the levels stay where they are, they will take him off the ventilator tonight and put him on the CPAP. (I'm not sure what all that means, but I know it's the next step!)
Ana is doing well and will be released from the hospital tonight.
Thank you for your prayers...keep them coming because although he's doing well so far, things can change so quickly.
CPAP is a good thing. When he is done with CPAP he will go to just a regular nasal canula. Then to breathing regular air. Do you know anything about his PDA (opening in the heart, full term babies usually will close on own, preemies either take medicine, close on own, or have a PDA ligation where they close it for them) Just wondering. That could become an issue. I am so happy and thankful that he is doing so well! Praise God!
