Sydney Silliness

Well....I don't think I will ever be able to serve regular hot dogs again. Kevin and I had a date lats night and in an attempt to quickly feed the kids before we left, I decided another night of hot dogs wouldn't kill them. But I had to make "octopus" hot dogs again. And Sydney got a little silly with them while we were waiting for the water to boil.






On a related note, I've been working on the "mississippi hot dog" rhythm with Kayleigh this past week. This rhythm is the first I teach to my violin students and K and I have been clapping it, tapping it, dancing it, etc. This morning she was looking in an alphabet book and all of a sudden I heard "Daddy, mmm hot dog. Look!" I went over and she was pointing at a picture of an octopus and saying her version of "mississippi hot dog". We have confused that little brain of hers!!!!
