Bear, Les and Blue

You know those dads of daughters who sit down and play tea party with their girls? It's so sweet, isn't it? I remember thinking...."Kevin would never do that". And I was right (so far). He doesn't.

But he does play with his girls. Right now their favorite thing to play with daddy is "Bear, Les and Blue".

What?!?!

Let me explain....Bear Grylls has a show called Man vs. Wild....Les Stroud has a show called Survivor Man... and Blue...well, Blue has a show called Blues Clues. It started out with Syd and Kevin watching these survival shows together. Then they started playing survival games... making forts in the house, pretending to eat weird things, really eating weird things, etc. Then Kay got old enough and started catching on...that's when she declared she would play too and she was Blue!

Anyway, the other night after dinner we all went outside to our igloo fort and played Bear, Les and Blue. Crazy but fun. Here are some pictures.

    That's awesome that they have found their thing to do. Their fort reminds me of Chris' stories of living in Alaska. They lived there for 8 years. He was in Boy Scouts there also before he became an Eagle Scout. I get to here stories of their forts. It was nice to see something similar to what hey made in the cold, cold weather!
