Sunday Snow Hike

I know, I know...you are tired of snow pictures. Well, we still have another 4 months of snow, so just get used to it!

It was nice and warm yesterday (high 20s), so we took a family walk down the gas pipeline that runs through our neighborhood and veered off on some trails that run through the woods. For the most part we were on trails so it was easy walking. There were some times when we veered off and the snow was up to our waist...that makes for more difficult walking! We also took the sled along since there are some pretty big hills. For some reason Kayleigh has a big aversion to sleds so when she wasn't walking, I was carrying her! She did fall asleep at the end and rode in the sled for the last 20 minutes. Anyway, we also found a neat spot to have ourselves some hot chocolate. It was great fun and we were all pretty tired by the time we got home.
