Did you hear about Bill Gate's stunt last week? Letting loose some mosquitoes in a room full of people...claiming that if those afflicted by poverty are subject to malaria, why shouldn't people of wealth also be subject to the disease. It turns out that none of the mosquitoes he released were carrying malaria, but I'm sure it made many in the room a little nervous.
Malaria is real and many are effected by this terrible disease.
I remember one of the first letters I received from Judith, my first Compassion child. She lived in Kenya and I had sent her extra money for her birthday. She used the money to buy a blanket and net...."Right now I am sleeping well without any problem. I used to sleep for a short time because of disturbances of mosquitoes at night".
I read another story about Nana and his malaria affliction.
It's these simple acts of kindness that save lives. Will you do something about it?
WOW! That's a bold move on his part and one that they probably wont forget!
