Sydney has this new thing of putting her cup in the refrigerator when she is finished drinking. Usually there is a little milk or water left in it, but sometimes it is completely empty.
After lunch today, I saw her put her empty cup in the fridge and so I asked her why.
She looked at me and said, "Mom...it's to keep it cold".
And I said, "Why would you need to keep your empty cup cold?"
She replied, "So bacteria doesn't grow in it. Don't you know that?"
That's cute and so smart on her part!

Peyton always puts his milk cup in the refridgerator after he is done drinking as well, but if you asked him why he would say so it doesn't go sour! Guess we don't have the science Dad!!!
