Bedroom

Earlier this week I finally got around to painting our bedroom. I had been putting it off because I wanted to replace the curtains and light fixture above the bathroom sink. I had also wanted a framed mirror. After pricing all those,I settled for just a new light fixture. I couldn't justify the expense and just new paint on the walls has made me happy! It's not that much different...it's a neutral color like the rest of the house, but it warms it up quite a bit (before it was white).

So here are a couple "before" pictures...


And now "after"...you'll notice I changed the location of all the wall hangings.

    wow, it looks really great, even with those small changes! I especially like the black wall art horizontally above the bed, it really anchors the space. way to go, you inspire me to see what little changes I can make around my house!

    I love freshly painted rooms! I'm a tad jealous! I don't have anything left to paint! Well, one wall and a half but it is the same color that I need to fill in.

    The bedroom looks great!!! And I also love your new blog layout, perfect for spring! Will the girls have a spring photo on the side bar to go along too? ;)

    I love the new look, the light fixture makes a big difference too!!! Definitely something I need in our bathroom. You did a good job rearranging the wall hangings too!
