This is how we do egg hunts here in the UP...partially in the snow! The girls had a blast.
EASTER EGG HUNT #2
We went to some friends house for lunch and then the kids got to do another egg hunt. Kayleigh found this cool headband and was walking around with it on.

it just doesn't seem right to hunt for eggs in the snow......
ReplyDeleteYou do what you have to do!!! Thankfully we had quite a bit of grass, too, so it wasn't all in the snow. Also, the snow makes it easier for the kids to find the eggs!
ReplyDeleteI remember hunting for eggs outside when I was growing up. My kids weren't that brave so we hid eggs inside the house. I was at Deb's house this Easter and she wanted to hide the eggs outside but her hubby thought it was too cold. I was in Milwaukee, WI and there was no snow in sight. It was pretty cool with a brisk wind though.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm so glad to hear that you are doing a children's moment in your church too. I thought that reminding the children of other children that were used by God was a way to encourage them. I also get to talk to their parents so that's going to be my DVD and personal comments. -- Jane
