Evening Out

We are having beautiful weather here (sunny and in the 70s) so we've been getting out as much as we can. Two nights ago we went for a hike...we have several trails that lead from our neighborhood into town so we went exploring. We ended up at the back of the local golf course. The mosquitoes were so bad that we did not want to go back into the woods to get back home. So we tried to be as indiscreet as possible and make our way out through the golf course. We made it home almost 3 hours after we left! Needless to say we were all tired!

Then last night we had ourselves a nice little picnic on the waterfront and then walked the bike path along Lake Superior. The girls mostly rode in the wagon this time. We stopped at a spot where a creek comes out into the Lake and played around a bit.





Kevin caught several crayfish for Sydney to play with...

Another cool thing we did last night....We had the opportunity to go to University's observatory and look through the telescope. It doesn't get dark here until after 10, so we woke the girls up and headed over. We got to see the moon and then we got to see Jupiter and 5 of its moons. It was amazing!
