It was such a blessing to see this sweet baby, Jillian, again!
And I am so thankful I got to hear Beth Moore speak. She certainly has a gift for speaking God's word with truth, authority, humor, animation, humility and conviction. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time (except when I was walking the halls with Jillian!)
Beth spoke on Psalm 37:4
"Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."
We examined what the desires of our heart mean and what it means to delight yourself in the Lord. We also looked at the internal things (jealousy, anger and worry) that tend to steal our delight and disfigure our desires. We talked about commitment and waiting. Finally we talked about trusting God and doing good while we wait.
It was amazing.
It was a great conference with wonderful music and awesome teaching!
