The Coast

So after two successful days of homeschooling, we decided to take a break and go camping! Why ruin a good thing, right?!?!

We spent the night at a state park campground near Nehalem Bay. Although the sites were very close to eachother and the park was quite full, it was quiet. We enjoyed the beach there and then the next morning we packed up and drove south along the coast.

We stopped in at the Tillamook Cheese Factory for some delicious cheese samples and yummy ice cream! We drove past this in May, not knowing what it really was. Now we know it's a good place to stop.

After the Tillamook Cheese Factory, we drove out to Cape Lookout...another great beach. And this time we found plenty of "seashore wild life" as Sydney called it.

Although this particular fellow was dead, there was evidence of many crabs on this beach.

We found this very cool sea cave to hang out in. The tide was coming in so we couldn't stay long!

For those of you who have never seen the Pacific Ocean... here you go

You live in the coolest places with the best sites and most beautiful areas too! I love all the sea life you saw.
The girls looked as though they were enjoying themselves too...very cute. I love the one of them walking along the beach holding hands.
