Day 3 - The Badlands

After driving several hours through South Dakota, we arrived at the Badlands. Wow..they are surreal. I was a little taken aback by these signs posted everywhere...

We stopped at quite a few turnoffs to take pictures and we also went for a short hike. We would have hiked longer, but the girls were complaining about the heat (it was 85 and they are wimps!)







There wasn't much life in the badlands, but we saw quite a bit of cacti
