Pumpkin Patch

On our way to the coast on Monday, we stopped at this family farm and pumpkin patch. I told the girls they could each pick out a pumpkin - it's much more fun to pick one out of a field than out of the grocery store parking lot. And being from the "Pumpkin Capital of the World", I like getting a yearly dose of pumpkins!

So Sydney picked a giant pumpkin that weighed in at 45 pounds. We didn't buy that one.







You know I'm a fan of sunflowers...check out the size of these. I would have loved to have seen these in bloom!
