Saturday Hike

Today's exploring adventure took us into the Columbia River Gorge to hike back to see some falls. We started out at Horsetail Falls and then hiked up to the Upper Falls.


If you look closely, you can see Kevin and Sydney standing behind the falls. The trail actually took you behind the falls and out to the other side.







After the upper falls, we saw this beautiful view of the Gorge.



I've mentioned it before, but it still amazes me when I see it. I love how the moss grows on the trees here. It looks like the trees are just dripping with moss. Kayleigh said these trees need a haircut!




About half way through the hike, we came across these falls.

We finally got to "Triple Falls" - it was worth the hike!
