Our Week

We had such a nice, quiet, boring week at home. I read a great book last week (The Power of Less by Leo Babauta) and simplified my schedule. I identified my goals, my most important daily tasks and limited my computer/phone time. The results were amazing! Truly...it was such a good, productive week. Now I need to be diligent and remember that I am much happier when I am focused.

We went to the third Symphony story time which featured a trumpet. Sydney has been fascinated by the trumpet and was really excited to see and hear one up close.



And here are my beautiful girls...as usual Kayleigh is obsessed with being a princess and always wants to know if she is beautiful. Just before this picture I told her that Yes, she is beautiful. But it isn't the crown or dress or shoes that make her beautiful...it's her smile!
