Rainy Week

This is a rather boring post, in my opinion, but if you are a grandparent, you'll be happy to see a picture of the girls. We had an unadventurous weekend. Saturday we spent the day doing stuff around the house...I went for a run...then I worked the Compassion table at a Mercy Me concert. Sunday was rainy and we ran some errands. Pretty normal, boring stuff.

And now it's a rainy (but busy) week.

One of the things we did Saturday was get our seeds planted. We're going to attempt a fairly decent sized vegetable garden this year. Although we are renting the house, there is a strip in the back that is perfect for gardening, and the neighbors (owners) encouraged us to plant stuff! So we are going to try to sprout some stuff inside first, and then transplant it outside in a couple months.



Then this morning we made these nest cookies...yummy! (we used butterscotch and chocolate chips, since we can't have the peanut butter kind)
