St. Patrick's Day

Dressed in GREEN from HEAD

to TOE

For breakfast we ate (and read) green eggs and ham. I know that this book has nothing to do with St. Patrick's Day, but it's fun to do...and besides, my mom did this for me, so I have to carry on the tradition. Don't worry, we watched Veggie Tales to learn the true meaning of St. Patrick's day.

We headed out to the nursing home to play some Irish fiddle music and hand out shamrocks. Both girls wanted to take their violins and they officially gave their first public performance!

Green lunch...mac and cheese

Being silly (Auntie Tara, these pics are for you!)

After nap, the girls did some Irish dancing to The High Kings cd (we love their music!)

Then we had a green dinner...chicken and broccoli casserole with green rice and green pudding salad!
