Flowers

I have a great friend, who comes up with some of the greatest ideas! I remember the first time I went to her house, I noticed three very different pots of flowers on her steps. I must of commented because she explained that she lets each of her three kids choose what goes into their pot. They didn't "match" or follow any sort of color scheme, but I loved the idea. So last year, I let the girls pick out flowers for their own pots, and they were thrilled with the project. And today we did our pots for this year...








Today was going to be a no nap day...I told the girls to read some books quietly while I vacuumed. Pretty soon, Sydney came down to tell me that Kayleigh was asleep ("for real", she said) and to ask for a snack. I told her that I would get her something to eat in a couple minutes. About 15 minutes later I called to her and didn't get a response. So I went looking and this is what I found.


Guess they needed a nap after all!
