Look-Alikes Around the World by Joan Steiner
This is a very fun book. The author has taken famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and the Great Wall of China and recreated them out of really interesting things. This is a book your kids (and you) can look at over and over. And it opens up opportunities for learning more about each country or landmark.
Aa is for AARDVARK by Mark Shulman, illustrated by Tamara Petrosino
This book is about words that have two of the same letter in a row. This opened up opportunities for us to look for other words like this in other books we are reading. We were having all sorts of fun with this idea after reading this book!
The third and final book is This is the Sunflower by Lola M Schaefer, illustrated by Donald Crews. I really liked this one...loved the pictures, the story and "extras" on the last page. You can actually look at this book HERE.
