Sunday Silliness

Today was the first day of "Crazy, Fun, Girl's Week" (CFGW)at the Foley house. We spent some time picking a theme for each day and we are looking forward to lots of crazy fun. Since we were out in the heat ALL day yesterday, we decided today would be movie day. But I also knew we needed some fun activities to do between the movies. So on our way home from church we stopped and got an inexpensive sprinkler. I remember running through the sprinkler was one of my favorite activities as a kid and we all had fun with it today.









While playing in the sprinkler, I remembered that Sydney has asked me for water balloons a couple times. So I went inside and made some. They didn't really want to play catch or other games with them. They just wanted to throw them down and watch them break.






I don't have much growing in terms of a garden. This not being our house, we didn't want to invest a lot of money into the garden. I do have some sunflowers coming up and thought is would be fun to start taking pics of the girls standing next to them every couple weeks to see how tall they get.


I also have some herbs, tomato plants, cucumber and summer squash...we'll see if anything produces veggies.
