Saying goodbye is hard. As we pulled away from the airport, Kayleigh said, "I want Grandma Lucy to come back! I miss Grandma Lucy." (we played Narnia a lot this week and Grandma was Lucy).
Then a couple miles down the road she said, "I miss them as much as I missed you when you were in Peru."
Then Sydney said, "Will we ever see them again?"
Saying goodbye is hard, and it never gets easier.

Ohh!! I had tears in my eyes when I saw their sweet faces!! I am glad they had so much fun with grandma and grandpa. Wish we all lived closer to you guys so we could see you more often.
ReplyDeleteIf there had been a camera on me, my face would have had the same look (altho not as cute!)I was crying so hard I couldn't find my ID for checking in! It is so hard to say goodbye, especially when you don't know how long it will be til we see each other again. We had such a wonderful time with you & having all that special fun time with Syd & Kay was priceless. They are so beautiful, intelligent, imaginative, fun & loving. It was a very precious time that we will long cherish. Thank you! Thank you for showing us such a fantastic time!!
