New House Tour

This is the front room...right inside the front door. I think it's intended use is a living room /dining room. However, we are using it as a workout and homeschooling space.

The girls wanted to take turns hosting video tours of each room. Here is your first tour.

This is our homeschooling / office area.

This is my favorite piece of furniture...this was in my house when I was a little girl, and until a couple years ago, my brother had it. I'm so glad it's in my possession now. This is homeschool-central!! (books, craft supplies, paper, etc.)

This is our family room - my favorite space in the house. It's so warm and inviting (in my opinion). I love how the fireplace turned out and I love this rug in here.

Here is the girls' room. It's very narrow and this large window makes it difficult to arrange the room any differently.

There was not room for their dresser here, so this is what I came up with. I found this bookshelf at IKEA and it works perfectly for their socks, pjs and underwear! I have re-organized this closet so many times, and I'm sure this is not the final look. I need to work on minimizing their wardrobe even more (did you notice their outfits in the video? Syd likes to sleep in big t-shirts and then just put on pants the next day. And Kay just wants to dress like a princess).

And we could probably pare down their book collection a bit!
