What a day! I feel like we went non-stop ALL DAY LONG!
I decided to pull out all the stops for breakfast...it was sunny and a beautiful fall day. We've been inside the house most of the week, being studious and staying on schedule. It was time to mix it up a little bit.
I pulled out the fall (pumpkin) decorations and we had a special breakfast on the patio.
Here's a little explanation with Kayleigh's new hairdo....she is quite taken by a 10 yr. old girl in our homeschool co-op. I don't know why... other than saying hi to her every week, she hasn't had much interaction with her. Anyway, this girl wears her hair in a ponytail and then wears a headband. This week Kayleigh has insisted on being Abby and this is the closest I can get to putting her hair in a pony tail. She even wants me to call her Abby and will call me Nancy (Abby's mom). Tomorrow we are staying after Friday school to have lunch with Abby and Nancy.

After the girls caught and played with frogs and caterpillars and mommy washed some windows, we did school outside.

What have you done lately to make an ordinary day EXTRAordinary?

We took a trip to the local zoo/park since the weather was sooo nice out. It was a fun day to be outside and not stuck inside.
