15 years ago, I agreed to become a Foley. Kevin and I had been dating 3 years, and on December 7, 1995 he popped the big question. We were laughing the other night because neither of us remember the details very well. What we do remember is that he missed several good opportunities to propose and instead chose to propose while driving in the car.
Not very romantic, I know.
He had to pull over to the side of the road so he could get the ring out of his pocket.
It's not a very good story. But I would rather have a good marriage than a good engagement story...and I do!
