There was no hiking this weekend - too much rain. It rained, and rained, and rained some more. It was frustrating because it was in the mid 50s all weekend, but the rain kept us inside.
We did do some rock climbing at the community college rock wall, but other than that all we did was make some pot holders. The girls would start them and then get tired of the weaving. More than once I found Kevin working on them! I think he did the green and white one all by himself!
We don't watch much tv around here, but I do have a "favorite" show that's on Sunday nights on PBS - Globetrekker. If you aren't familiar with the show, the "traveler" (host) goes somewhere in the world and travels through the area. It's been a fun way to learn more about other countries. I was excited to end this not so great weekend with my favorite show - I had to laugh that last night's show as on America's Midwest! - go figure!
Love the potholders!!! Good job Kevin!!!! it brings back great memories of making them and giving them as gifts. I made placemats with them too i would make a bunch and them stitch them together. you could probably do a skirt or dress too:)
