Saturday Hike

In our family, weekends are for hiking. We found a nice hike to try today - on the Washington side of the river. It was rolling hills through forest and an old logging area and took us back to this lake. We could have continued another 2.5 miles to an overlook but decided 5 miles was long enough.

Cutest hikers in the Pacific Northwest...

What is your family doing this weekend?

  1. K looks sooo grown up these days! It's been fun to watch her change.

We have spent today cleaning the house because Luka =^..^= had some explosive matter :( and then we hit up Sam's Club for milk and pizza! (No worries, it won't be eaten together!) Oh and we went into the attic to get my small suitcase down so it can be PACKED and at the ready!

  3. oh I love these pics. The lake looks like it makes a heart!

Love the pics of the girls.

How are you doing? I think about you lots.

I asked Michelle about letter writing paper to write my sponsor children... do you just download it or do they send you some?

Seriously thinking of putting my application in this coming week.

    YOU have inspired me.

    hugs,

  4. Teena...

It does look like a heart! Good observation.

I don't copy the letter template onto my fancy paper before writing letters. I just type them and print them on it. I'm not sure if there is a template on line....I'll have to go over to their site and check that out. You could also just keep the form they send you with each letter you receive and use that to copy.

We had a birthday party for our number 3 darling. This afternoon we are trying to catch up on a few household items.

  6. we washed the car and played outside in the beautiful spring like winter weather!! we need to get our boys out hiking so they can learn that hiking means walking further than across the street to play in the woods!!!

  7. Well our weekend wasn't quite as adventurous! We had friends over for dinner, visited grandma and other elderly residents at Sacred Heart home and went to see a kids concert at church- the Donut Man! We are planning on going for a hike next weekend but ours will consist of trudging thru the snow!
