I lost her lost tooth (oops).
I put it in a safe place so I wouldn't lose it.
I made rice for dinner, and naturally there is rice on the kitchen floor.
Every time I see a grain of rice on the floor, I get excited and think it might be her tooth.
The tooth fairy is giving her something extra special since her mom lost her tooth.
OH NO what happen after I talked to you? You had just lost it in the sink and found it!!! Oh well, she still got money:)
ReplyDeleteafter I talked to you, I put it in a "safe place" - thought it was the counter where I keep all my other junk. But when Syd went to get it to put it under her pillow it was gone. I have no idea what happened to it.
ReplyDeleteI had a $2 bill so I gave her that - she thought it was cool to get a $2 bill!
The trials of the tooth fairy!! I'm with Sydney, $2 bill is pretty cool!!
ReplyDeleteI'm half laughing half sad! I don't know which emotion is taking over!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, those silly teeth! I had a friend who just forgot to "help" the toothfairy by retrieving the tooth from under the pillow during the night and then had to explain why the fairy had forgotten. I live in fear of doing something like that!
ReplyDeletefunny and sad all at the same time. I agree with Syd though, a $2 bill is really cool.
ReplyDeleteSyd is very aware that I am the tooth fairy - when she lost her first tooth, we talked a bit about the tooth fairy and who it might be. I didn't want to take the fun out of it, but also didn't want to intentionally lead her down a path of deception. She looked at me and said, "Tell me the truth mom - is it you?"
ReplyDeleteShe knows it's me - but she still has fun with it, leaving her (me) notes.
