It was supposed to rain all day (and it rained all week), so we decided to stay dry and do some indoor rock climbing. We headed to a climbing gym and tested our endurance. This happens to be the biggest climbing gym on the west coast and the walls are at least twice as high as we are used to climbing.
I don't have pictures of Kevin and I climbing, but the girls did their fair share of scaling the wall like lizards.
Kayleigh really did a fantastic job. Here she is "racing" another girl....
She quickly passed her up....
And made it all the way to the top!

do you have to own your own gear to go to those climbing places?
ReplyDeleteYou can rent the harnesses and shoes, but it costs more money. You also have to pass a safety test - belaying.
