The composer I've chosen for the month of April is Antonio Vivaldi. Nothing gets me in the mood for spring like listening to Vivaldi's Four Seasons (particularly Spring).

March 4, 1678 - July 28, 1741
Did you know Vivaldi was an ordained priest? He was nicknamed the red priest because of his red hair. His health (asthma) prevented him from actively serving as a priest and he pursued music. He later became head of an orphanage, where he composed music for the students.
