Today we headed north west a bit (into Washington) to visit Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. It was ok...we didn't see much (3 snakes and 1 slug) and the weather was iffy (rain, sun, rain, sun, rain, etc), but I guess it was better than sitting at home on our butts.
They had some really big, gnarly oak trees that were cool to look at.
We also got to visit the Cathlapotle Plankhouse Project.
